I really enjoyed Volcano National Park! We ate lunch in a brilliantly located restaurant that had a big sitting area that overlooked the smoking volcano.
At night we could see the glowing magma. At first we couldn't, but then as the wind shifted and the clouds changed we could and it was impressive.
The observation area was awe-inspiring as I thought about what was before us, and the information and samples of things were really cool.
Terran and I missed out on the most amazing hike, but we were able to do a pretty cool one through a huge lava tube!
